For me it's not trivial to filter them yet :( And yes, once in a week or so the need to see all items comes up. In that case I use the places panel and check "Show all entries". Except for Home and Devices I've hidden all default panel entries, I have no need for them. The menu otoh now shows 2 Columns, although it should contain only 7-10 items.
