Thanks for the bug-report!
Could you please give the latest Plasma version a try? We have fixed a number
of bugs in this area and your problem might already be addressed with these
changes. An easy way to test the latest version is KDE's neon git/unstable,
which allows you to run today's code and test.
If your problem persists, could you please collect and attach the information
outlined in this wiki page to this bug report?
