After the latest update of KDE Neon (5.11.5) I get a login screen
(non-graphical). After logging in I enter the command ´startkde' and then I get
the message 'Display is not set or cannot connect to the x server'.
On entering śtartx' the screen turns black while showing the mousepointer.
It also showed the KDE logo for a short while when turning black.
I suspect it is a problem with the video card. My video card is a Nvidia
GeForce GTX 550 Ti. Please don;t tell me to buy another one.
My system is AMD 6-core.
Advice from your side please.
