If it is not incredibly difficult, having the ability to use a keyboard shortcut to initiate the process would be helpful. I could picture a faster workflow where a keyboard shortcut initiates a face tag of predefined size at the current cursor position. That would eliminate the slowest part of the process, which is dragging the mouse to make the box a certain size.
