In the "Volume Control Settings", clicking the "Mute" button for Notification
sounds (on the "Applications" tab) has no effect.
Notification sounds are still played with the same volume even if they are
muted.
Setting the volume to 0 works as expected (i.e. no audible notification
sounds).
The "Mute" buttons for other application streams do work however (the problem
is restricted to the one for "Notification Sounds"), and the general "Mute"
button does affect notification sounds too.
