Bug ID: 388341 Summary: Clicking a link in a non-browser application causes infinite wine tasks to appear in the task manager, but not actually start processes Product: plasmashell Version: master Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: Task Manager Assignee: h...@kde.org Reporter: icehusky1...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 109586 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=109586&action=edit screenshot of task manager Hi there, I have found that clicking a link in non-browser applications such as Minecraft can start to spawn infinite Wine-browser applications. It doesn't actually start a huge amount of processes (from what I can see in top anyway), but the "applications" seem to reproduce and cause more dummy applications. plasma-desktop spikes to 200% CPU on a quad core and my temperatures reach unsafe levels. There is another bug, 381088, which mentions a similar issue but from a KDE application. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
