Bug ID: 387609 Summary: Icons, text and buttons are very small on 4k HiDPI monitors + non-KDE desktop environments Product: kdenlive Version: Appimage - Refactoring Platform: Appimage OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: User Interface Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: jesse.dub...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 109214 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=109214&action=edit Screenshot example BEHAVIOR The 4k scaling for gtk3 apps on GNOME (naturally) doesn't take effect in Kdenlive after opening the program: icons, text, widget buttons, and menus are all scalled down considerably in the interface. EXPECTED BEHAVIOR That's tough, since I'm sure Kdenlive uses some KDE scaling setting in HiDPI cases. But expected behavior would be that the icons, text, widget buttons, etc would be appropriately scaled, whether that be an in-program scaling parameter in "Configure Kdenlive", or it scales based off of screen resolution, etc. BUG DISCOVERED USING Kdenlive (timeline refactoring) alpha6 Appimage Ubuntu 17.10 GNOME shell 3.26.1 Nvidia GTX 1080 graphics Nvidia 384.90 proprietary drivers Linux kernel 4.13.0-17-generic 4k Acer monitor, screen resolution 3840x2160 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
