            Bug ID: 387500
Summary: Switching layout with Alt+Shift negates shortcuts with
                    Ctrl+Alt+Shift
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_khotkeys
          Assignee: k...@michael-jansen.biz
          Reporter: david.cortes.riv...@gmail.com

Example in Vivaldi browser

If I assign the main keyboard layout (language) switch shortcut to be ‘Left Alt
+ Left Shift’, then this shortcuts ‘eats up’ or takes precedence over shortcuts
that have Ctrl+Alt+Shift (e.g. these are very common in web browsers) – that
is, when trying to input a Ctrl+Alt+Shift combination, KDE switches the
keyboard layout and doesn’t execute whatever was under the longer shortcut.
