I doubt it's changing the Session in the SDDM config.
What probably happened is:
- you had an SDDM config with no session set (if you edited it manually for
example..or maybe some installer does that?)
- you then opened settings, if you don't have a session selected, our combo
box will just have the first entry selected.
- hitting save will update the SDDM config.
Maybe I should put a blank entry in the combo box.
