Ways to fix it, with resulting regressions:
1) Stick to a single selection color: You no longer see if the item is
selected, AND the list still has focus.
2) Always keep the focus on the list: Some KCMs take (or "pull") focus to a
different list or other item explicitely to avoid having to click or Tab just
to be able to control the KCM with the keyboard.
The reason you see a different color on second click is when the module is
already loaded it won't pull focus again when showing the page again. Maybe
that can be changed.
