Sample backtrace
Thread 1 is the thread of interest. The two calls into
KDEPlasmaPlatformTheme.so are missing debug symbols. I'm running Kubuntu Artful
(17.10) with backports enabled, so Plasma 5.11.3, Frameworks 5.39.0, Qt 5.9.1.
Unfortunately I can't find any packages with debug symbols for the backported
packages, which includes KDEPlasmaPlatformTheme.so. When I get a chance I try
to replicate with vanilla Kubuntu Artful and the debug symbols installed so
that the stack trace identifies the calls in KDEPlasmaPlatformTheme.so.
