I could not find a way to get to the S/W originators so I did a re-install of
kde*, plasma* and plymouth* after trying to use "apt-get build-dep" on the
various mismatched kde debug and plasma stuff which crashed the boot. Very
depressing. I can no longer boot plasma at all, and am now in a gnome gui
desktop. (Better than nothing) My desire was to run kubuntu with the plasma
desktop on 16.04.3. Any suggestions?
