This is happening when Gwenview is installed on a system using GNOME or a
GNOME-based Desktop Environment (like Ubuntu's former Unity). On those systems,
remote files are mounted locally at /Media using GVFS. In theory no special
handling should be required for this use case; the Samba share should appear to
be just another local path--totally transparent to the application. Need to
investigate.
