I'm experiencing a weird problem with digikam 5.5.0 which I just installed (and
I can't run any test on the latest 5.7.0 appimage as that won't see my camera!)

The problem looks like the metadata info are missing from just a few pictures,
but they're not, as I can see them after I import the pictures. All the
pictures have metadata and on just a few of them, no matter how hard I try, I
don't get them in import window.

I'm on Linux Mint 18.2, fwiw. Camera is a Canon EOS 60D.
