            Bug ID: 385986
Summary: Deinterlacing doesn't work if source is MPEG-2
           Product: kdenlive
           Version: 17.08.1
          Platform: MS Windows
                OS: MS Windows
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Video Display & Export
          Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org
          Reporter: jones.p.p...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Screenshots of source material, project settings, render settings, rendered
video codec info and screenshot of rendered video

Deinterlacing is not applied when rendering if source material is MPEG-2. It
has been confirmed by other users here:
https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=272&t=141945

I have a progressive project, force progressive on render settings and my
rendered file is still interlaced. Same results with webm and mp4, so it's not
an FFMPEG issue.
