            Bug ID: 385802
Summary: Searches Home directory linked to "Do not search in
these locations." Extremely slow on user files that
have a different group other than users.
           Product: frameworks-baloo
           Version: 5.39.0
          Platform: Slackware Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Baloo File Daemon
          Assignee: pinak.ah...@gmail.com
          Reporter: gisupercrus...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I have my home directory linked to a folder in a different partition:
$HOME
bash: /home/rad: Is a directory

In /home/
ls -lh gives:
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root   root    16 Jul 20  2016 rad -> /Files/rad/

In /Files/
ls -lh gives:
drwx--x--x 90 rad users 4.0K Oct 16 04:03 rad
drwx------ 2 root root 16K Jul 19 2016 lost+found

In System Settings->File Search I have "Files" listed as in "Do not search in
these locations."

Date of build of baloo_file_extractor.
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 120K Oct 11 03:08 baloo_file_extractor

I see this location after freezing occurs and I switch to a different console
with alt+ctrl+F2, and then back again to alt+ctrl+F1. I block group "users"
internet with firewall. I have a separate group that I switch to when I want
internet. In this case I used a script provided by Carnegie Mellon University
to get required files for Festival program and a result the downloaded files
are owned by a different group.
pwd:
/home/rad/Source/Festival/build/cmu_us_rms100

ls -lh
drwxr-xr-x 44 rad allowinternet 4.0K Apr 24 16:15 cmu_us_rms100

Every time I have to kill X using ctrl+alt+F2 and switch back to ctrl+alt+F1 I
see cmu_us_rms100 folder listed and files in that folder in console in a wall
of text.
