I've tried this several times in a row, immediately after using the Universal
Installer on the latest Kubuntu today (October 7th) and booting from a USB
drive. As soon as I go to the Applications > Games or Graphics section --
probably others, haven't tried them all yet -- and press the down arrow button
to scroll down the list of applications, the Discover application crashes.
