I have a similar problem, after upgrading fedora25 -> fedora26 (this entails
konqueror-16.08 -> konqueror-17.04)
If I run
$ konqueror page.html
it opens an empty konqueror window whereas the html document gets opened in a
running firefox window! Of course "page.html" is a valid local HTML file.
