            Bug ID: 383012
Summary: Option to disappear the user picture and password
                    prompt after a few seconds
           Product: kscreenlocker
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: pointedst...@zoho.com
                CC: bhus...@gmail.com, mgraess...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Currently it's possible to *sort of* use the screen locker as an old-school
screensaver, which many people (myself included) like and want. But there's no
way to get rid of the password prompt and user picture from the middle of the
screen, where they obscure whatever picture or visual effect the user has
chosen.

It would be nice if there was an option to make the password prompt and user
picture disappear after a few seconds, and only display again when there's any
keyboard or mouse input.

If there are already solid plans to implement a real screensaver independent of
the lock screen, please feel free to close this bug.
