Bug ID: 358767 Summary: Dolphin crashed while sorting search results Product: dolphin Version: 4.14.3 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: bars: filter Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: ponchorat1...@hotmail.com After doing a search on "." on an external 8Tb hard drive (only used 2Tb) with only films on, I have been going back-and-forth switching search results from name to type and back, since late last night (about a 13 - 15 hour gap). I only came back to the search results just after midday, and after just selecting sort by type and highlighting "AVI" and then selecting t sort by name, Dolphin just faded out and crashed, without telling me it had crashed. I had to manually report this crash, so the report might not contain anything useful, sorry. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. On a large external HD (with alphabetised folders) search for everything, "." 2. switch the results from name to type a couple of times, add with that a few moves to another drive and deletes 3. Leave for about 15 hours 4. switch the results from name to type 5. Highlight one type of video 6. switch from type to name Actual Results: After performing step 6, Dolphin just faded out, not even telling me it had crashed. Expected Results: It should have just switched to display the search results alphabetically with the highlighted results scattered throughout the search results. While the search was ongoing and dormant, I had Curlew converting AVI to MKV throughout the night, saving the converted file in the same folder as the file to convert. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
