I first installed File Roller using Synaptic, and discovered that it doesn't
show up on the Application Dashboard. Starting up Discover, Archive Manager
showed as installed, so I pressed the button to uninstall, and then reinstall.
Surfing through the application menu, I see Ark, but not "File Roller" or
"Archive Manager".
Starting file-roller from Konsole works. This does turn up the error message
...

... although file-roller seems to work fine.
P.S. The reason that I'm using File Roller instead of Ark is that
dragging-and-dropping a directory in to Ark doesn't work!
