Interesting idea, however getting the wallpaper is quite difficult (the
Activity Manager does it and it's a pita) as in Plasma wallpapers are just QML
files that can be anything, from a static image to any random animation or even
a 3D animated Earth. In theory one could load the wallpaper plugin in there and
scale it down.
Unfortunately, I don't think going through all of this trouble is worth for a
little visual gimmick, sorry. :/
