Yakuake with the underscores showing in some places, but not everywhere they
should be.

I have tried searching for a solution, but can't find one.
When I type any text that contains an underscore (_) character, the underscore
is not visible. It is effectively there because a command with the underscore
will work, but it's deceptive when it can't be seen, as it looks like I typed a
space.
For example if i type "mkdir test_dir", the directory is created.
Sometimes after entering a command, the underscore becomes visible.
I'm not sure if it could be something to do with text size or line spacing
settings?
Please advise if I can provide any other information that might be helpful.
I am attaching a screen grab of yakuake with the underscores showing in some
places, but not everywhere they should be.
