as drkonqi isn't working can you do the following from a command line instead:
"gdb plasmashell"
then when it crashes type "bt" and attach that.
To make coyping easier you might want to type "set logging on" just before "bt"
and it will save this info to a file.
Also can you cofnrim if you're running wayland or X. On the login manager the
session will end in "(wayland)" if it is.
