Misaligned text at the bottom of the screen with Spell Check set to
autodetection of language and automatic spell checking enabled.

Downloaded the new KATE 17.04.1 64-bit.exe for Windows and noticed the spell
checker would not work. Went to Settings->Configure KATE->Editing->Spellcheck
to make sure the Enable autodetection of language box was checked, it was. Then
noticed that above the Default language drop down menu there was a "No backend
found for spell checking" error message. I tried to change the language from
English to something else but there are no other options even though I chose to
install all the available languages during the setup. Even though it spell
check doesn't work somethings it comes back with error messages at the bottom
of the screen with the text misaligned.
