Bug ID: 380476 Summary: Kwin draws 1px overlay on the left screen border Product: kwin Version: 5.10.0 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: gr...@sub.red Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 105850 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=105850&action=edit screenshot of the overlay I recently upgraded to 5.10 on two machines and both show this new behaviour: There is a 1px wide overlay which makes interactions with the underlying (maximised) windows impossible, e.g. when trying to select text or clicking buttons. I often push the mouse to the edge because it is faster than aiming. Appended is the output of xwininfo and a screenshot from spectacle capturing the "Window Under Cursor". xkill of the id that is shown in xwininfo reveals that this belongs to kwin. I think this behaviour can be easily reproduced by maximising windows and move the mouse to the left edge of the screen. E.g. if done with konsole, the mouse cursor changes, xwininfo and spectacle also work well. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
