I think that may be useful to add the possibility to exclude folders during the
scan using for example regex.
My idea is that under the folder that I add to digikam I have also sub-folders
or sub-sub-folders that I wouldn't like to include and see in digikam but in
the meantime I also wouldn't like to move them in another position. Using regex
could be very nice because is flexible, anyway the possibility to use
metacharacters is very important.
