Hey all, 

I'm trying to develop an plugin to complete certain actions when opening a file
on a per-file basis, and to my understanding this is currently not possible as
a part of Dolphin.

Would there be interest in extending the current plugins system to call an
service during a file open (double-click file) event? Would there be any
objection if I started working on a PR for it?
