I have been using Kdenlive for several years, on several computers, all on
Ubuntu. In that time the only transitions that have worked consistently have
been dissolve and the most basic wipe. This is true in the time line preview
and in rendered output files. I now have a real need for some variation in
transition for a project I'm working on.
I've searched on the problem and I've seen several bug reports on this problem
with Ubuntu but not suggested fixes.
In an attempt to correct the problem I've installed the kdenlive repository,
purged the Ubuntu installed version and installed a clean copy from the
repository. The problem persists.
I could really use some guidance on this.
