Also weird effects after resume a pretty much random for me. for example: both monitors become in sync for ome reason, wallpaper on primary monitor sometimes is hidden as well (IIRC), Panels configuration is absolutely random (you never know panel of which monitor will be shown on primary monitor. And for secondary monitor it's usually just absent.
