            Bug ID: 376788
Summary: Attaching external screen while suspended results in
                    kernel panic on resume
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.9.1
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Multi-screen support
          Assignee: aleix...@kde.org
          Reporter: kato...@gmail.com
                CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

I use my Dell E7470 either with its own screen or with a port replicator having
two screens attached to it (internal screen disabled). Before connecting to the
port replicator the laptop is in sleep mode, put there using only the internal
screen. After connecting and resuming the result is sometimes a kernel panic.
It happens erratically, but it is present at least in the previous 2 months
(but maybe even earlier). I do not see any info in systemd journal. Maybe with
some guide I can give more info.

The system is openSUSE Tumbleweed, currently running plasma 4.9.1, frameworks
5.30.0, kernel 4.9.9. But this happened with previous plasma versions also.
