Same!
Debian 14 (Forky | Debian 13 with the 'testing' repository.
Plasma 6.7.4, Frameworks: 6.28.0, Qt: 6.10.2, Kernel: 7.1.8+deb14.1-amd64
(64-bit)
It started a few days after the panel and the icons started freezing
immediately after boot:

If they are related in any way.

Now I'm wondering how I can I apply the fix when it will come through the
updates if the updates are not working in Dolphin itself and doing from the
command line comes with the risk of making my whole computer unboootable again,
since you don't let me to hold some pckages from Dolphin itself, when it was
still working:

I will definitely not risk the ability to boot my computer by issuing:
sudo apt upgrade
OR:
Sudo apt full-upgrade to fix Dolphin
As they will just upgrade all the packages, including the ones that break GRUB.
You should've let us to held packages from the Dolphin itself, nut just
respecting what we are doing from the command line!
