Krita says the same thing:

Not a JPEG file: starts with 0x3f 0x3f

I'm afraid that means that it just isn't a jpeg file -- it really isn't. It
starts with "???/?Exif" -- my guess is that it's only metadata about the image.
Krita, even 3.0 (2.8 is really old) crashes because the jpeg library crashes
when confronted with the broken input.

I'm afraid that this is a bug that Samsung should solve... Not that they will!
