Every time it was because the battery was dying and experiencing brief voltage drops that upower interpreted to mean that its capacity was rapidly dropping to 0. Then the voltage would rise again, but by then it was it's too late; upower had already informed powerdevil that the battery was dead (however briefly) which panicked and engaged its "oh god the computer is about to run out of power" logic. We could potentially add a short timer to de-bounce rapid erroneous power events like this. This would allow us to detect when it's happening and show an "uhhh your battery may be dying" notification instead of a normal critical battery notification. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
