I have 2 Debian installs, one `U` on Sid/unstable and one `S` with
13/Trixie/stable.
`U`(nstable) has KDEConnect version 26.04.3.
`S`(table) has KDEConnect version 25.04.2.
On my Android phone `P`, running LineageOS 21/Android 14, I have KDEConnect
1.35.9 from F-Droid.
I can connect from `P`(hone) to both `U` and `S`. When I try Remote input
against `U`, it works, but against `S` it doesn’t. With that I mean that the UI
on `P` appears, but no matter how much I move the cursor or type on the virtual
keyboard, nothing happens on the machine.
So I’m wondering if there is any incompatibility between the versions, or there
might be something wrong on the `S` machine’s config. Both `U` and `S` are
running Wayland:

Not sure what other info I should provide.
I tried to read the code at
https://invent.kde.org/network/kdeconnect-kde/-/compare/v25.04.2...v26.04.3?from_project_id=71,
but I don't know enough of it to quickly find where the input methods actually
are.
My preferred outcome would be for the Android app to support the old KDE
system. I'm pretty sure Debian Stable is not the only stable distro release
with old KDE versions.
If that's not possible, a warning on the app the the remote is old and not
supported.
