Bug ID: 523158
Summary: Dolphin Trash Configuration Missing Option to Select
Between NTFS and EXT4 Partitions
Classification: Applications
Product: dolphin
Version First 26.04.3
Reported In:
Platform: Arch Linux
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]

Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
I am on a dual boot setup with both linux and windows, so I have an ext4
partition with linux on it and an ntfs partition with windows on it. In
dolphin, if I right click on Trash → Configure Trash, it only allows me to
configure the trash on my ntfs partition. There is also no indication as to
which trash I am configuring.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create two partitions: one ntfs partition and one ext4 partition
2. Mount both partitions in dolphin
3. Delete files in both your ntfs and ext4 partitions (so a trash folder is
created on both partitions)
4. Right click on Trash -> Configure Trash
OBSERVED RESULT
The trash configuration GUI only allows you to configure the ntfs trash

EXPECTED RESULT
In older versions of plasma (e.g. plasma 5), there is a text box allowing you
to select which trash you are configuring (screenshot:
