If you can't find the file anywhere, it sounds more like you saved to some kind of temporary directory or directly into cloud storage. You can find the path you saved to via File > Document Information, where did you save it to? And does the file's modification time match up with the time you expect to have saved at or is it too early? Your Krita version is also outdated, please update to the latest one.
