  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION

The new 'Alternate characters: show popup when holding a key' feature is
enabled by default. It should be disabled by default because it breaks the 'Key
repeat' feature which is present in all OSes and all DEs including Plasma 6.6
and below. Key repeating is arguably expected by the users, e.g. I was
surprised when it stopped working after an update and I needed to do some
searching on the internet to find out what this new popup that kept showing up
is even called and how to restore the repeating behavior.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. While editing text, press and hold the '/' key

OBSERVED RESULT

A single '/' is written and a popup appears with a shortcut to write the 'รท'
symbol.

EXPECTED RESULT

A single '/' is written and after a short delay more '/'s start being written
rapidly.
