I have a touch device connected to a desktop ie. a wacom pen display. I don't really need tablet mode but enabled it to see what it would do. I think this might be 3 issues: 1. When the Virtual Keyboard Mode is not set (no property set in kwinrc as it default on a fresh install), the virtual keyboard is enabled when turning on tablet mode and after turning tablet mode off it still persists. My uneducated guess is this may have something to do with the system tray keyboard manager retaining the virtual keyboard? Is this a bug warranting its own issue? 2. The Virtual Keyboard Modes that a user can set are 0=never, 1=With Touch and Tablet, 2=With Touch,Tablet and Mouse. When there is a connected touch enabled devices and 1 or 2 are set the virtual keyboard will always pop up on text inputs because a touch device is always available. Perhaps There needs to be a virtual keyboard mode for tablet only? This feature request is for integration, I think this retains the flexibility for the user to still configure the virtual desktop while providing the linked functionality of virtual keyboard in tablet mode only. 3. The tablet mode toggle in general behaviour might benefit from a notification that the virtual keyboard mode has been set to anything other than 'tablet only' so that the user has a better expectation of how the virtual keyboard will behave when enabling or disabling tablet mode?
