Same problem here.
For libreoffice : I have try to install gtk support. Menu bar disappear from
Libreoffice apps, but not exported into Global Menubar widget.
About Firefox : Menus of global menubar appear, but click on elements do
nothing.
On Gimp, Inkscape : Menubar is not exported into global menu.
