Deactivating the Plasma virtual keyboard solves this problem. Also, I noticed that the path is suggested if you delete the last char in the path. For example, let's say that you want to go to ~/.local Press CTRL+L The full path is highlighted. Press right arrow to put the cursor to the end. Type .lo Nothing is suggested.
