Bug ID: 375969 Summary: digital clock font is tiny when combined with date / add option to adjust size manually Product: plasmashell Version: 5.9.0 Platform: Other OS: OpenBSD Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Digital Clock Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: till2.schae...@uni-dortmund.de Target Milestone: 1.0 The digital clock widgets sizing when used in the panel has been adjusted with plasma 5.9.0. While the spacing was broken before, the clock now is quite small when using it together with the date and quite large, when using it without the date (see Bug 375966). The date is placed on the left side of the clock, when the panel height becomes really small. However, if I adjust the panel height to the largest point, where this happens, the clock is still very tiny. I want to be able to view my clock from one or two meters away of my monitor. I often just want to have a quick look at the screen and get the time, without concentrating and stress my eyes. => Please add an option to adjust the font size manually (there are many different use cases and there might not be a one size fits it all solution). Alternatively, add an option to always display the date left to the time, such that the time becomes larger. See screenshots for a comparison of the size with and without the date with preferred panel height and a screenshot with max panel height for displaying date and time side by side. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
