--- Comment #45 from Steko95 <[email protected]> ---
I installed the libva-nvidia-driver-0.0.16-1.fc43.x86_64 package, but it did
not resolve the screen recording issues in Spectacle.

Tested Formats:
- MP4 (H.264): Causes Plasma services to crash.
- WebM (VP9): Produces corrupted files that cannot be opened. Additionally,
Spectacle fails to generate a recording preview after finishing the session.

The issue occurs only in dGPU mode. When using Dynamic GPU mode (integrated
intel graphics), the recording works as expected.
The issue is reproducible also on a PC desktop setup with an RTX 5080.

My laptop setup is:

Operating System: Fedora Linux 43
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.23.0
Qt Version: 6.10.2
Kernel Version: 6.18.13-200.fc43.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 32 × Intel® Core™ i9-14900HX
Memory: 64 GiB of RAM (62.4 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor 1: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU
Graphics Processor 2: Intel® Graphics
Manufacturer: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
Product Name: ROG Strix G18 G834JZR_G814JZR
System Version: 1.0
