STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Type ~10 random characters
2. go to end of text
3. Press Ctrl+Shift+Left
OBSERVED RESULT
Cursor moves one character at a time (two for the first one); selection ends
always to characters behind cursor
EXPECTED RESULT
Cursor moves to beginning of "block" (whatever that is, should be the same
behavior as qt does by default); selection end stays where we started
