            Bug ID: 517161
Summary: Ask the user if they want to use Kup for
                    newly-connected empty disks
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kup
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: KDE Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

One of the killer features of Apple's Time Machine backup system is that it
prompts the user if they want to use any newly-seen mostly-empty large disks
for it. This is a huge driver of people actually using the feature.

I'd like to propose the same for Kup. It could notice any disk that meets the
above criteria and ask the user if they want to use this disk as a backup
destination, taking them to the backup plan config UI if no backup plan ahs
already been set up, or using it as a second disk in a rotation for an existing
one.

As bonus points, it could also offer to erase and reformat the disk, optionally
applying LUKS encryption. I use this for my backup disks and it's a pain in the
butt do to myself.
