--- Comment #5 from [email protected] --- Under Linux, through DBUS, one instace play with the DB in RW, all other ones play in RO. It's users wishes. There is the QtSingleApplication API available to limit program instance. I use it in my office (i ported this to Qt6 with few fix for Windows).
