NeoChat from current git master via KDE's nightly Flatpak repo.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Compose a message consisting of the following text in KWrite or some other
external app:
BTW thanks a lot for fixing the bug reports I opened about the text
regressions. I tested NeoChat today and it's almost usable again. Here are the
new issues I found:

chat text field breaks quite often

2. Paste it into NeoChat's chat text field and press Enter
OBSERVED RESULT
A mess: the list doesn't turn into a Markdown list; the underscores in the URLs
are removed, breaking the links; and the second half of the link and the rest
of the text on each line becomes underlined. See attached screenshot
EXPECTED RESULT
A properly formatted markdown list consisting of four URLs with accompanying
text
