On boot, starting an update from Discover often results in no visible progress
and no error. sysupdated starts, serves SHA256SUMS* (HTTP 307 responses), then
receives no further requests and exits cleanly after ~5 minutes (“servers are
shutting down / Server exiting”). There is no “broken pipe” or
“failed/interrupted” in this case. Retrying the update immediately triggers the
actual download and succeeds. This looks like Discover aborting early or not
continuing the request flow on first attempt, leaving sysupdated idle until its
timeout.
