--- Comment #6 from Michael Carpino <[email protected]> ---
I'm using the latest AppImage where I see the problem. After reviewing your
comment I downloaded and installed the latest version of KMyMoney from the
Gnome Project Software app. The installed version is Version 5.2.1. When I
try to recreate the issue I'm having with the AppImage, the problem doesn't
present itself. I can edit and create split transactions.

If I go to my downlaoded AppImage version (Version 5.2.2-06687f3) I open any
account in my Ledger and try to create a new transaction by selecting
Transaction > New Transaction which then opens Transaction form. I select
today's date, enter an amount in the Payment field, hit tab which then
highlights the Category box. Before I select any category I select a Payee and
then from there I click the icon to use the split editor. The split editor box
opens. I select a Category from the pull down window and enter the amount but
the OK box is greyed out.

When I attempt to change an existing transaction I follow these steps. I
select the transactions in the account ledger then right click the transaction
and select Edit splits. This opens the Split editor. I left click on the field
I want to change, then right click then edit. It shows the category that I
want to change. I change the category and the Ok box is greyed out. I've
attached screens shots of an example for you to see what I'm seeing.
Screenshot #1 is the transaction I'm trying to edit. Screenshot #2 is the split
I'm trying to edit. Screenshot #3 shows the changed category. Note screenshot
2 and 3 shows the OK button is grey.
