Bug ID: 516839
Summary: Moving app across virtual desktops doesn't bring app
to front
Classification: Plasma
Product: kwin
Version First 6.6.1
Reported In:
Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR

Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
Moving an app across virtual desktops (**Meta + Ctrl + Shift + Right** for me,
the exact shortcut can be found under Settings > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Window
Management > Window One Desktop to the Right) moves the window to the next
virtual desktop, but if I haven't clicked on the app I'm moving recently
enough, it'll appear behind the other apps on the new desktop.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have multiple virtual desktops
2. On left desktop, open app
3. On right desktop, open other app and click on it
4. Move back to left desktop
5. Without clicking on it, move app from left desktop to right (see shortcut
above)
OBSERVED RESULT
The moved app appears below the other app on the desktop.
EXPECTED RESULT
The moved app should appear on top, because it's what I'm looking at &
interacting with.
